Dr. Laurens Kraal, PhD
Chief Technology Officer
Former Head of Product at uBiome Inc., a microbiome diagnostics company, and research fellow at the Berkeley Institute for Data Science. Dr. Kraal received his PhD from UCSF, during which he was also involved with multiple life-sciences start-ups. He also attended Harvard Medical School, Osaka University, Utrecht University, and the University of Groningen. In addition to his PhD, he holds a MSc. in Biomedical Sciences, a BSc. in Molecular Biology and a BA in Theoretical Philosophy focused on AI.
