General Manager at DeepX Service and global operational and systems responsibility for the group. 20 years in leadership positions in insurance and customer centric organizations, incl. Dixons UK, Vesta and Skandia. MBA from Oslo Business School, and attended Harvard Business School, USA for Building & Leading Customer-Centric Organizations.

Dr. Kurt Ayerst

Medical Director and dermatology consultant with two decades of management experience. Chair of Dermatology Clinical Reference Group, NHS, the British Association of Dermatologists Skin Cancer Sub-committee.

Knut Stamnes

Professor at the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at Stevens Institute of Technology. Co-founder of Balter Medical, and specialist in Optical Transfer Diagnosis technology and the Balter skin cancer algorithm.

Prof. Jakob Stamnes 

Founder of Balter Medical (with brother Prof. Knut Stamnes at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA, also employed by DeepX Health). Developed Balter Medical based on work done for NASA space agency and is a specialist in tissue optics modelling and clinical studies. Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Bergen, with more than 200 publications.

Knut Jacob Kartveit

Knut is an Economics with Finance graduate from the University of Edinburgh, where he obtained his MA Honours degree. As a former intern at Novel Diagnostics, he has previous experience with the medical device industry and DeepX Health’s sister company, ScreenCancer. His primary focus is on supporting the management team in making the correct business decisions, as well as on DeepX Health’s imminent fund-raising process.

Dr. David Swanson

Vice Chairman of Dermatology and Associate Professor/Consultant at the Department of Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic (AZ, US). Engaged in dermatology-based research, Dr. Swanson’s primary research area is on noninvasive imaging technologies to diagnose skin cancer. Dr. Swanson holds a BA from Saint John’s University, and obtained his M.D. at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Dr. Paola Pasquali

Dermatologist and specialist in skin cancer and noninvasive diagnosis techniques. Dr. Pasquali is a former President of the International Society of Teledermatology and Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Dermatology and EADV School. In addition to being an internationally renowned speaker, Dr. Pasquali coordinates the Dermatology Service at Pius Hospital de Valls in the public sector. Dr. Pasquali is also the editor of four books, including Skin Cancer: A Practical Approach, Cryosurgery, A Practical Manual, Photography in Clinical Medicine and Textbook of Primary Care Dermatology.

Dr. Frank Castellana

Frank Castellana has held senior executive positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, for both the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Divisions. Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, he was associate professor of Chemical and Bioengineering at Columbia University and has a degree in Eng.Sc.D. Areas of expertise include product development and commercialization strategy, product and licensing transaction valuations, and portfolio strategy.

Dr. Kurt Ayerst

Chief Medical Officer at DeepX Health and clinical lead for ScreenCancer. Dr. Ayerst is a senior consultant dermatologist registered in the UK and Republic of Ireland on the IR respective specialist registers. Currently working in the independent and charity sectors, he has nearly three decades of clinical and managerial experience within the South African and UK health services (NHS) and has served on and chaired various national committees and groups, including the British Association of Dermatologists Skin Cancer subcommittee, Clinical Reference Group for Specialised Commissioning (NHSE), Expert Working Group of National Casemix (NHS Digital).

Dr. Rhonda Low

Dr. Low is Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is also a fulltime practicing family physician in Vancouver and an executive health physician at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She has a special interest in Continuing Medical Education for primary care practitioners, co-chairing one of the largest annual conferences in Canada. Dr Low is also a journalist. She was the health anchor for an evening newscast on a Canadian national affiliate television station for 15 years, has written regular health columns for local magazines, moderates community health events and is currently a regular medical commentator on television and radio

Xavier Yon is an experienced healthcare executive with an extensive background in dermatology. Previous roles include executive positions with Pfizer, Solvay, Alcon and most notably as Chief Executive Officer of Galderma for 17 years.

David Nikka

Former COO of Exact Sciences. Broadly experienced senior executive in diagnostics, medical devices and pharmaceuticals at companies including Dermira, Abiomed and Genzyme with responsibilities for corporate and product development, regulatory, clinical affairs, human resources and division general management. Co-founder of ScreenCancer, Inc.

Hans Gangeskar

Gangeskar is co-founder and former CEO of Nurx, a US-based $300M telemedicine company. Additionally, Gangeskar holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cambridge University, as well as law degrees from The George Washington University Law School and BPP Law School.

Ben Kent

Chief Operating Officer of Doctor Care Anywhere, the digital health business. Ben has more than 20 years’ experience in executive positions, including CFO of Simplyhealth, Group Director of Finance at BUPA, and interim CFO of DeepX Health. Ben is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Chartered Accountant.
